Member Meetings with Guest Artist Demonstrations and Special Events
Most monthly general meetings include a guest artist who provides a demonstration of his or her art. We seek people who have a variety of skills and interests and those we might not normally have an opportunity to see here. Included are artists who work in oils, watercolors, mixed media, pastels, etc. Other special events may be art talks, presentations by gallery owners, retailers, or art critiques.

Classes & Workshops
TAL provides classes and workshops on an ongoing basis. Working with a more experienced artist in a focused learning environment is a great way to refine existing skills and learn new ones or to learn more about a medium or approach with which you are not familiar. In addition, TAL hosts workshops for children and adults.

legacy Scholarships
From Opportunity to Legacy. TAL’s Color the Future program encourages young artists through art shows and student awards. As community support grows, Legacy Scholarships extend that encouragement beyond high school, helping students pursue visual arts education and build a creative future.
