Color the future Program
The Tomball Art League’s Color the Future program encourages young artists through Youth Awards and Legacy Scholarships.
Youth Awards
K–12 students participating in a TAL art show are eligible for awards selected by random drawing. No ribbon or judged award is required. Awards may include cash, art supplies, or gift certificates for workshops, camps, and retreats, depending on available funding and donations.
Legacy Scholarships
Legacy Scholarships help graduating seniors in Tomball and surrounding communities pursue visual-arts education beyond high school. Applicants must have participated in a TAL art show within the previous two years.
Initial scholarships are awarded through a competitive application process. Recipients may qualify for additional support after their first academic term by meeting published academic and program requirements.
Growing a Creative Legacy
Award amounts and opportunities depend on available funding. As community support grows, TAL may expand the program and offer named scholarships under the same criteria and requirements.
