All students in kindergarten through grade 12 who participate in a Tomball Art League art show are eligible. Students do not need to receive a ribbon or other judged award to qualify.
Recipients are selected by random drawing from the pool of all participating K–12 students. Each student receives one entry per drawing, regardless of the number of artworks entered.
Awards will be appropriate for the recipient’s age group and may include cash, art supply gift baskets, gift certificates for art supplies, workshops, or art retreats, or a combination of these items.
Cash awards and gift baskets may range in value from $100 to $500. The number and types of awards will depend on opportunity, available funding and donated items.
Workshop, retreat or other gift certificates: suggested maximum award values are $500 for a local or online workshop, $1,000 for a multi-day program or summer art camp, and $1,500 for an approved instructional retreat or intensive. Actual amounts and the number of recipients will be established by TAL according to available funding.
Recipients must collect their award or arrange pickup with TAL representative before the show closes. Otherwise, the award will be forfeited.
For workshops, retreats or other gift certificates that will require travel, written parent or guardian consent is required to claim the award.
Forfeited awards may be donated to a local youth outreach or community art program.
A parent, guardian, school, or approved program provider remains responsible for transportation, lodging, and student supervision. TAL does not independently organize student travel or assume responsibility for supervision.
