Supporting young artists through awards and scholarships
The Tomball Art League announces it’s COLOR THE FUTURE Program. Youth Awards for K–12 students who participate in a TAL art show, and Legacy Scholarships for graduating seniors pursuing further education in the visual arts.
Together, these opportunities encourage students to explore art and continue their artistic education.
Youth Awards All students in kindergarten through grade 12 who participate in a Tomball Art League art show are eligible. Students do not need to receive a ribbon or other judged award to qualify. Recipients are selected by random drawing, with one entry per student.
Awards will be appropriate for the recipient’s age group and may include cash, art supply gift baskets, gift certificates for art supplies, workshops, or art retreats, or a combination of these items.
Legacy Scholarships support graduating seniors who have participated in a Tomball Art League art show within wo years of application and who are entering a college, university, art school, or other eligible visual-arts educational program. The legacy scholarship program includes an initial scholarship and an opportunity for additional support after successful academic performance.
Individuals, businesses, and community organizations are invited to donate or sponsor the program, helping young artists build confidence, explore their talents, and pursue a creative future.
