I started drawing seriously at age 10 when I bought a “how to” book on portrait drawing. I then took some private art classes as well as art in junior high and high school. I was an art major in my junior year of college when I decided to change my major to business. Family, work, and life in general got in the way, and I did no artwork at all for over 40 years. I started trying to get back into it two years ago and have primarily been doing graphite portraits.
